NPP, Nana Addo forced Mayweather to cancel Ghana trip

According to him, the level of lawlessness and impunity Ghana is witnessing under the ruling New Patriotic Party, might have caused a stir in Floyd Mayweather’s camp forcing him to call of the trip.

Speaking in a radio interview today, the Builsa South MP insisted that, the boxer’s turn-around of event has everything to do with the lawlessness of NPP’s Invisible Forces, though organizers have laid bare reasons for the cancellation of the trip.

“You see Floyd Mayweather says he’ll not come, we should all blame it on Delta and Invisible Forces. He has read and assessed what is going on in the country and has decided to cancel his trip”, the Dr Apaak categorically said. The lawmaker, in his conversation alleged that, Ghana has gained international notoriety because of the lawlessness and impunity under the current NPP administration. Dr Apaak among other allegations submitted that, current senior members in government and other party grass root encourage vigilantism and have therefore failed in condemning acts of lawlessness being carried out by party members in the country. The NDC MP also launched vitriolic attacks on President Akufo-Addo, calling on him to wake up in dealing with vigilantism before Ghana start experiencing a replica of Bokom Haram and other civil wars.

Floyd Mayweather “The president has the responsibility of ensuring that we all enjoy peace and stability, it is only when we have these things we can achieve our goals and contribute meaningfully to well-being of our nation,” he mentioned Upscale Entertainment had made preparations to invite the Floyd Mayweather for a three-day visit to Ghana this month.
