NPP Man arrested for stealing police uniform

Deputy Accra Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), Inspector Kwabena Danso, told the media tgat the investigation indicated that the suspect Williams Dapaatem stole the uniform when a police officer from the Tesano Police Station washed and hung it on a drying line.

Dapaatem was arrested on Thursday, August 30, 2017 after some traders at the Kwame Nkrumah circle reported him to the police.
He was immediately arrested by a police patrol team and transported to the regional command for further questioning.
After taking the uniform, the suspect allegedly wore it and moved to Circle to harass traders and hawkers.

He also allegedly collected various sums of money from the victims.
