NPP Kandahar Boys chase out Tamale Teaching Hospital CEO; lock up offices

Some youth believed to be members of pro-New Patriotic Party (NPP) group, Kandahar Boys Monday morning stormed the premises of the Tamale Teaching Hospital locking up the offices of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Dr David Zaawumya Kolbila.

Radiogold905.com’s Ibrahim Mohammed who reported the incident said the group chased out the CEO before subsequently locking up the offices.

The NPP’s Kandahar Boys among other things are accusing the CEO of the hospital of incompetence.

The group also claimed the CEO has misused hospital funds and ignored them even though they played a major role in his appointment.

Dr Kolbila took over as Chief Executive Officer of the Tamale Teaching Hospital on Monday, June 19, 2017, from Dr Prosper Akanbong.
