NPP to hold National Praise and Thanksgiving Service

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will today Sunday, December 18, hold an Interdenominational Praise and Thanksgiving service following a successful polls last week.

The programme is under the theme “We will rejoice in thy salvation and in the name of our God. We will set up our banners. The Lord fulfills all thy petition, Psalm 20 vrs 5.”

It is to thank God for the party’s success at the just ended December 7 vote.

The event is organized under the distinguished patronage of the President-elect, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, a statement signed by the acting General Secretary, John Boadu, said.

The event will be graced by the President-elect, Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President-elect, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, all our Members of Parliament-elect and the leadership of the party.
The party on Friday the held the Islamic version of t

he programme to thank Allah for his “grace and favour” at the polls.

The president-elect used the opportunity to reassure the Muslim community that he will deliver on his promises, expecially the Zongo development fund.

He also hailed the peaceful coexistence between Muslims and Christians, promising to guard the peace and security of the country.
