The Secretary to the Senior Staff Association of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), Patrick Binyemi, has refuted the notion that they are on strike.
He said the action being taken by the staff is in response to the concession issues that have received attention in recent months.
Speaking on our news and current affairs programme, ‘Behind the News’, Mr Binyemi said leadership of the company has shown good faith, but the other stakeholder, Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), is not helping matters.
He said the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission’s directive to the company will be dealt with by management.
