No ‘political prostitute’ will be CPP candidate in 2016 – Samia

Immediate past Chairperson of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Samia Nkrumah says the party will not field any candidate deemed as a mole in the party.

According to her, the dwindling political fortunes of the CPP over the years is due to the continuous association of its members to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Ms. Nkrumah, who was speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday, maintained that the CPP under her leadership will be independent of the NDC and NPP.

“CPP will not field any candidate flirting with other party especially the NDC and NPP. We need loyal, faithful and dedicated candidate as candidates for the elections,” she stressed.

The aspiring to the flagbearer of the CPP said they have booted all the moles out of the party and are ready to offer sincere leadership if voted into power in 2016.
“We are ready to offer a huge dose of sincerity to serve Ghana and achieve the unfinished business of my father,” she added.

Samia Nkrumah called for a “shift in our thinking” and make the right choice by voting massively for the CPP for result oriented leadership.
