President John Mahama says the National Health Insurance Scheme will not collapse under his watch.
He said the scheme is currently facing some challenges due to the increase in number of those who access it.
The President was addressing a rally at Ejumako Besease in the Central region.
President Mahama asked Ghanaians to ignore those who are trying to make politics with the issue and be assured that the scheme won’t fail during his tenure.
The President also hinted that his next term will be dedicated to economic empowerment and livelihoods programmes to provide safety net to the ordinary Ghanaian.
