Nana Konadu campaigns despite disqualification

The Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Party (NDP), Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, has expressed frustration over her current impasse with the Electoral Commission.

She is however, optimistic that she will eventually be on the ballot paper to be voted for on December 7 because she believes she has a strong case.

Nana Konadu was speaking in an interview with our Central Regional correspondent Kingsley Nana Boadu in Cape Coast after meeting queen mothers from various part of the region and outlining her vision to them if voted into power.

She assured the queen mothers that her government will ensure that women are empowered to take their place in society.

This, she said, will start from empowering the Queen mothers to be recognized at the various houses of chiefs in the country.
