NDC wishes Dr Bawumia speedy recovery

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sent its well wishes to Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Dr Bawumia was taken ill on Friday and later flown to the United Kingdom for medical leave.

The decision to get the Vice President out of Ghana was based on advice from his doctors, a statement from the presidency said.

He was accompanied by his wife, Samira.
On its official Twitter handle on Saturday, NDC wished Dr Bawumia a speedy recovery as “he has been medically evacuated to London for treatment”.
