NDC will win a landslide in Presidential elections – Ampofo

The Director of Elections of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has predicted that the party will improve on its margin of victory in this year’s Presidential elections.

Mr Ampofo in his address at the NDC campaign launch on Sunday which was held in Cape Coast said the diverse membership of the party would be key as they look to increase their winning margin from four years ago.

After greeting NDC representatives drawn from the 10 regions of the country in their native languages, Mr Ampofo said his salutations were in recognition of the diverse membership of the party who were crucial in their success four years ago.

He said, “This shows the diversity of the party, that is why we win eight out of 10 regions and this time round even the one-and-a-half that they have we are going to reduce it”.

Mr Ampofo predicted that the NDC were poised to maximise their votes in the one and a half regions that their opponents have been winning.
