Madam Shirley NAANA Osei Ampem, parliamentary candidate for lower West Akyem, is set to launch her official 2016 campaign on 11th September, 2016 at the Asamankese Lorry Park Station. The parliamentary candidate who’s contesting the seat for the first time after Mr. Artin Bruce Opare who contested on the ticket of NDC in 2012 but lost the seat to the NPP candidate, Gifty Klenam, is fully hopeful of a successful campaign launch in the coming days.
The launch is expected to amass thousands of people in the constituency together with national executives and campaign team members, a group by name Obantanpa Kuo – which was formed to garner votes for Madam Shirley Naana Ampem, have all promised their unflinching support.
Madam Sisi Comfort who happens to be the mother of Shirley Naana Osei Ampem, said in an interview with GhanaPoliticsonline.com that, her daughter, even as a parliamentary candidate, has contributed immensely to developmental initiatives in the constituency.
The parliamentary hopeful has also contributed in actualizing activities and policies of the better Ghana agenda by President John Dramani Mahama; one of the major reasons why they are firmly behind her to launch her campaign and to also see to it that she wins the seat.
