NDC defends 2016 Manifesto Highlights

The NDC has defended the promises and policies contained in its manifesto for the December election.

The spokesperson of the NDC campaign team, Mrs Joyce Bawa-Mogtari insists that contrary to claims that the promises are over ambitious, they are actually feasible.

Mrs Bawa-Mogtari was speaking on GBC’s current affairs programme ‘Focus’, which discussed the highlights of the NDC manifesto as presented by President Mahama Tuesday night.

Mrs Bawa-Mogtari also dispelled accusations that the NDC stole ideas from the NPP.

A member of the NPP Communications team, Saka Salia, said it is disappointing the NDC is making new promises.

According to him, the party should focus on delivering on the promises it made in 2008 and 2012.
