MUST READ: HOW NAM 1 SNEAKED OUT OF GHANA USING UNAPPROVED ROUTE

we are informed that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of embattled gold dealership firm, Nana Appiah Mensah allegedly left the country using unapproved route.

According to information available to this portal, the man who is currently the most wanted guy in Ghana never traveled out of the country using the airport for fear of being arrested.

He instead opted to use one of the several unapproved routes on the Ghana-Togo border to enter the Francophone country.

From Togo, NAM1 is said to have moved to Nigeria from where he flew to South Africa where he is believed to have been hiding since October 2018.

we gathered further that his family later flew out of Ghana using the right route to join him in South Africa.

According to news portal, Mynewsgh.com, NAM1’s wife has closed down her shop and items emptied.

Neighbours say the shop was emptied by a team who came around at night with 3 Tundras and one KIA pickup about two weeks ago to pack the shop wares.

Interestingly, Nii Armah Amarteifio, who is the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Menzgold is confused about the whereabouts of his boss.

The man who had claimed that he would not disclose the whereabouts of his boss in an interview on Accra FM, later told TV3 that he does not know where his boss is hiding.

“His life is at risk, and, so, for some security reasons, we cannot disclose where he is at the moment”, he said in the Accra FM interview.

“As I said, I cannot say where he is at this point in time because it has become a security issue now…I have done some few checks and it reveals the warrant is coming from the courts…”, he later told TV3.

His confusion notwithstanding, the Government of Ghana is doing everything possible to ensure the repatriation of NAM1 to Ghana.

A search warrant which was signed by a Circuit Court Judge has been issued against him; and Interpol is expected to repatriate him the moment he is arrested.
