Musician Behind ‘John Mahama Dey Be’ Song Releases Two Official Songs For Mahama

Ghanaian talented musician, David Adjah aka Deeaja, who’s the brain behind the popular 2012 NDC’s campaign song titled ‘Ede Bee ‘for candidate John Mahama, has officially released two campaign songs for Mahama for this year’s elections.

The two songs which are titled ‘John 3:16’ and ‘JM Onaapo’ and their respective videos are expected to hit TV screens just after the NDC’s manifesto launch.

“Onaapo”, which is very popular now, is a fusion of Ga and Twi – It talks about all the good works of John Mahama and the fact that the NDC is going into the 2016 elections with a united front whiles John 3:16 talks about the fact that President John Dramani Mahama is the 3rd John the NDC is producing.

To Deeaja, he’s a versatile musician who sees nothing wrong with musicians doing songs for a political party they believe in.

“As a citizen of this nation and a musician, I will always like to use my music career to do patriotic songs as well as also praise the good works of Presidential Candidates” he said.

Asked what motivated him to do a song for Mahama last four years, he said because Mahama as a Vice President, proved that he will be a good President. He said President Mahama after becoming the President of Ghana has proven beyond every reasonable doubt that he is the President this nations can trust, therefore, entreats Ghanaians to vote for him for the second time.
