Minister of health doesn’t have covid-19; it’s diabetes

Minister of Health Hon Kwaku Agyeman Manu has denied media reports that he has been infected with the novel coronavirus.

Earlier this morning, there were reports in the media that suggest that the Minister was battling Covid-19 and has been admitted at the University of Ghana Hospital which is designated to treat VVIPs who are infected by the virus.

In a related development, the Minister who spoke to a couple of people including Okay FM presenter Afia Pokuaa captured by Ghanapoliticsonline.com said that he is fine but needs rest and taking his usual medication.

A post sighted on Afia Pokuaa’s Facebook page reads “I spoke to the minister of health. He says he is fine and doesn’t have Covid but only needed rest and his usual medication.

Some posts circulating on social media suggests that the Minister has not been infected by the novel Coronavirus but only treating diabetes.
