Mahama’s critics are being dishonest – Collins Dauda

The Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Alhaji Collins Dauda has asserted that the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) track record in rural development especially access to potable water was unparalleled and deserves commendation from his critics.

According to the Minister, critics of President John Dramani Mahama are only being dishonest about the developmental achievements of the NDC government.

He was addressing party faithful at the launch of the NDC 2016 electioneering campaign in Cape Coast in the Central Region.

Citing examples of rural development interventions by the government, he mentioned the 7.9 million euros water project recently commissioned by the president at Kyebi in the Eastern Region of the country.

He explained that access to potable water was a problem for Kyebi and surrounding communities such as Odenase, Anyinam, Apedwa and Nkwabeng and it was only fair to vote for him again to continue with the infrastructure development he has started.
