Ex-president John Dramani Mahama is in Morocco to advocate for the welfare of African women who venture into agriculture.

Former president was made the guest speaker of the crucial summit as he took the opportunity to make a case for the reason why African economies must improve the lot of the African women so as to usher in an era of prosperity.

Mahama’s engagement in Morrocco falls in line with moves by various African economies to make the agric sector the leading most competitive sector in the country. Currently, Ghana’s agric sector is facing major challenges as it continues to record slow growth over the past 4 years.
