Mahama Ayariga provides Bawku Central Constituency with an Ambulance

The Member of Parliament for the Bawku Central Constituency, Hon Mahama Ayariga has taken delivery of an ambulance he procured to support health care delivery in Bawku.

It would be recalled that Hon Mahama Ayariga had held separate meetings with key stakeholders such as the Bawku Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon Hawa Ninchema and her MCD, and the Management of the Bawku Presbyterian Hospital where he assured them of his plans to procure an ambulance to support health care delivery in Bawku.

Reports from the media suggests that the Upper East Region has only two ambulances assigned to Bolgatanga and Garu Municipality and districts respectively. All attempts to obtain an ambulance for Bawku have not been successful as the Ghana Ambulance Service does not have any available allocations.

In the light of this troubling situation Hon Mahama Ayariga decided to procure an ambulance for Bawku to provide relieve for residents.

In the coming days, Hon Mahama Ayariga would donate the ambulance to the relevant health management stakeholders in the Bawku Municipality.
