The National Democratic Congress, NDC, Member of Parliament, MP, for the Madina Constituency, Xavier Francis Sosu, has organised a free eye screening exercise for constituents suffering from diverse eye problems in Madina.
The medical outreach which is one of his many annual events was organised in collaboration with the office of the MP and Qatar Charity was aimed at correcting various defects and complications among the constituents.
Qatar Charity is a humanitarian and development, a non-governmental organization in the Middle East established in 1992 in response to the thousands of children who were made orphans by the Afghanistan war.
The one-day exercise was used to provide free different medication depending on their conditions and eye glasses to those with mild conditions, while those with matured cataract were offered surgical operations to correct defects.
