Inspector General of Police, Dr George Akuffo Dampare has appeared before the ad-hoc parliamentary committee probing the contents of a leaked audio plotting his removal.
According to the Chairman of the committee, Samuel Atta Akyea in addition to the IGP who has appeared today, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, the three senior police officers, namely COP Alex Mensah, Superintendent George Asare, and Superintendent Emmanuel Eric Gyebi, who have previously testified before the committee, will also return with their legal representatives.
The IGP has attended the proceedings with his lawyers.
