LETTER TO PROPHET OWUSU BEMPAH -Edem Koku Edem

LETTER TO MY PRESIDENT.

Dear President,
In the name of the Almighty God I do write to you, as I hope to write you as often as I have the resources to, with the hope that nothing of mine will be taken over by my brothers and sisters, (does the invisible forces have as its membership females?).

Mr President, forgive me if the content of this letter seem informal after all, I am waiting for the free education to get educated in formal writings, but in your words, I am cautiously optimistic. I can’t be a pessimist in this era of citizenship, I won’t follow the praise singers because my president, believes in alternative ideas and opinions, I am fortunate to be a Ghanaian in this era of Believe In Ghana. I am humbled to have H.E, William Nana or is it, Nana William Addo-Danquah Akufo-Addo as my President, (I never said SRC President), of Ghana.

I would not hold you to account for your campaign promises, after all, it is too early. But I hope to congratulate you on your appointments so far.

Congratulations for appointing the ‘men’. The men to help steer the leadership of the land.

Congratulations for appointing a first degree holder to be a senior minister (acting prime minister). He has an impeccable experience in visiting hair dressing salons for loan. He is an amazing economist of incomparable contention. He will help increase taxes after all, his duty is to synchronise and supervise the economic sector of our economy. Under his stewardship, transport fares will be increased, fuel prices have gone up twice. Congratulations Mr President.

The appointment of the data bank innovator as minister of finance will help cushion our economy well. I loved him from the day I entered University of Ghana, Legon, your alma matter (I rule you, you need to bow to the rulers, Vandals). It wasn’t his fault his C.V had an error of classification of his qualification. MBA or no MBA, he is so fine a gentleman that he was able to raise monies for the NPP while in government, dwindled that account, and moved on to be a debtor until they came back to power. Mr President, I know it wasn’t his fault. Irrespective of the fact of him having something something in some tax haven somewhere (I’m not suggesting he used some of the 2008 and 2012 campaign cash of the NPP in that offshore investment), he will help make our cedi further depreciate. I know that Mr President, he was the ‘best’ man in your list of ‘MEN’.

As for Agyarko, ooooh sorry, the Hon. Minister for Energy, why was he not at the Total AFCON 2017 to ensure our stars won the match with an extra GH¢ 3000(for bench warmers). And on the black stars, Agyemang Badu has done us a good favor, he indeed will present the cup to you when the team arrives in Accra.

The only thing that unites us is Black Stars and when we delve into the realm of partisanship, we loose the essence of citizenship.

Mr President, put a close eye on your running mate because he is running his own race. You promised a while ago to visit the party office every Monday as President, yet when you went for official state assignment, the former deputy governor (not governor of Ashanti) BoG did not show any courtesy and respect by your directions, he ignored the NPP. Why he didn’t visit, I will tell you in my next letter.

My President, may the Lord make this year a year of leadership in citizenship. May your reign be without dumkoraa and may we not have any additional taxes. May the angels of Atta Mills guide you in all your endeavours and may the demonization of John Mahama come to a halt.
