Learn To Be Decorous- Judge Tells NPP Lawyer

The learned Justice Anthony Yeboah sitting on the case of National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party Paul Afoko and the NPP stopped short to caution Godfred Dame of his unruly behaviour.

In the early hours of today, legal arguments began in this matter where Counsel Martin Kpebu swore by the Qur’an to be cross examined as a witness. Particularly, the recycled questions posed to Counsel Martin Kpebu by lawyer for the NPP was centered on the illegal smuggling in of Madam Gifty Kusi unto the Disciplinary Committee, the Preliminary Objections raised by counsel Kpebu and the absence of Alhaji Rahman on the day the ill-composed Disciplinary Committee allowed hatred to cloud their sense of judgement by illegally suspending the National Chairman of the NPP which has fractured the NPP in recent times.

During the cross examination, Justice Anthony interfered and made an instructive statement cautioning Godfred Dame who was unpleasantly charged and unruly, owing to an objection raised by the counsel of Chairman Afoko over an extraneous question he Dame was asking. Justice Anthony Yeboah contended that “Mr Odame, Learn to be decorous. When an objection is raised, you wait for the submission. After which you ask leave of the court to reply. That is the practice.”
