lawyers seek release of arrested demo leaders

Information reaching GhanaPoliticsOnline.Com is that Lawyers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are in the process of obtaining the release of leaders of the Let My Vote Count Alliance, Movement for Change and Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG) who led today’s demonstration.

The leaders who were arrested and put behind bars at the Police Headquaters following the chaos that ensued during the protest where dozens sustained various degrees of injury.
