LATE NPP MP JB Danquah’s sister speaks

A sister of the late Member of Parliament for the Abuakwa North Constituency, Joseh Boakye Danquah, has eulogised her late brother.

A tearful Abena Akyempomaa who spoke to a Kasapa FM correspondent shortly after the incident Tuesday morning said her brother’s benevolence touched a substantial base of his constituents while he was MP.

Boakye Danquah Adu was Tuesday morning stabbed at his residence at Shiashi in Accra.

Local police have started investigations into the incident.

The Greater Accra Regional Police Commander COP Dr. George Akuffo Dampare has visited his residence, we understand.

A married man, he hails from Old Tafo in the Eastern Region. The late Danquah was born on July 2, 1965, and is the grandson of late Ghanaian statesman JB Danquah.

A team of reporters from Kasapa FM has visited his residence.

Kasapa FM’s Deputy News Editor Jeffrey Nyanteh reports that the mood there is one of sadness.
