La Dadekotopon Unity Walk Shakes the Constituency

Members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress in the La Dade Kotopon Constituency have undertaken a “Peace Walk” to ensure the party remains united in the constituency and snatch the Parliamentary seat from the NPP. The unity walk also seeks to help to unite rank and file of the party ahead of the 2020 general elections.

Clad in NDC colours, the constituency executives led party faithful in the one and half hour walk, which started from the La Neighbourhood Centre through some principal streets amidst brass band, music, singing and dancing ended at the La Neighbourhood Centre.

Addressing the gathering, the former Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Scheme and a Flagbearer aspirant, Sylvester Mensah, called on the party faithfuls to unite behind the new executives for victory in the 2020 polls. He added that internal party contests are not about winners and losers.

A former Member of Parliament for the La Dade Kotopon and a campaign member of Professor Joshua Alabi, Nii Amasah Namoale, lamented over some National and Regional Executives who openly declared their support for a particular candidate and they must be called to order. He also called for level playing ground for Presidential aspirants The former Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr. Ekow Spio Gabrah who took his turn to address the supporters expressed his readiness to rally support behind whoever wins in the upcoming Presidential primaries in January, 2019.

He stated the economy is hard due to the bad policies by the President and his government adding that they have failed Ghanaians in delivering their campaign promises.
