Kwame Dzokoto descends on Mireku Duker for saying his mother is NPP

An aspiring Parliamentary candidate of Tarkwa Nsuaem Constituency in the Western Region, Seth Kwame Dzokoto has warned one of his opponents, George Mireku Duker to desist from peddling the falsehood that his (Dzokoto) mother is a sympathizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Narrating what led to the spark of the rumour, Mr. Dzokoto said, “My mother is a Queen mother in the constituency and, therefore, a traditional leader who is non-partisan. My mother made it clear that she cannot wear the NPP T-shirt due to her traditional status but was begged by the NPP candidate to wear it as a sign of good will”.

He added that as soon as his mother wore the T-shirt, pictures were taken and are now being circulated against her will and reputation.

The aspiring MP candidate has denied the allegation by coming out to declare that his mother does not support the NPP.

According to Mr. Dzokoto, it is a campaign tactic his opponent is using on him to which he finds not only offensive but totally dishonorable for an individual who wishes to represent Ghanaians in truth.

He assured his supporters of the full support from his mother and has advised them to disregard the rumor which he described as a falsehood and dirty.
