Koku Anyidoho must be ‘physically disciplined’ – Ken Agyapong

Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has said that he does not support the arrest of the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The maverick politician speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Tuesday the NDC deputy scribe ought to have been ‘physically disciplined’ for being ‘reckless’.

“…What did he mean that Nana Addo will be overthrown in a coup…he needs to be physically disciplined…,” he said.

Ken Agyapong thus called on Mr Anyidoho to meet him for a ‘one-on-one fight’ if he is man enough.

“I will meet him physically in a ring to deflate his belly…,” he charged.

The tough-talking NDC politician was picked up at the Accra International Press Center by plain-clothed officers.

The NDC was holding a press conference to react to the controversial Ghana-US Military Cooperation agreement when the personnel in police uniform sought to arrest Koku Anyidoho.

Asiedu Nketia and NDC Chairman, Kofi Portuphy, however refused to hand him over to the men and rather escorted him to the Police Headquarters.
