John Mahama meets Ketu South chiefs ahead of NDC unity walk

Former President John Dramani Mahama will later on Friday pay courtesy call on the three Paramount Chiefs in the Ketu South Municipality.

This is ahead of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) final unity walk in the Volta Region tomorrow [Saturday].

The Former President will l visit the Palaces of Togbui Adama, Togbui Fiti and Togbui Addo; the paramount chiefs for Some, Aflao and Klikor respectively.

The opposition party, since its defeat in the 2016 elections, has been organising the Unity Walk to strengthen the bonds between the party hierarchy and the grassroots.

The NDC Volta Regional Communication Director, Kafui Agbleze, told Citi News adequate provisions for logistics and security for the event.

“I must say that we are ready and Volta Region would host a walk that would be massive and beyond what we saw at Kumasi and other regions. I must say we have informed the police about it and adequate protection can be assured,” he said

The walk would start from Laklevikope and end at Aflao tomorrow morning.
