It’ll be difficult for NPP to win 2024 elections but …. – John Boadu

28th December 2022

Speaking in public for the first time after losing his General Secretary seat, John Boadu has expressed optimism about his party, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) winning the 2024 general elections.

He said the competition will be very tough for the party.

However, the former chief scribe has hope in the sense that, to him, the main opposition NDC doesn’t have what it takes to beat the NPP in an election.

“Winning the next election will be difficult but we must win because I don’t think our opponents have what it takes to manage the gains we have made,” he argued.

He is of the strong conviction that the NDC can’t the next elections “Because we have dealt with

them and worked behind the scenes to beat them with the biggest margin ever,” stressing “they are no match.”

Mr. John Boadu indicated on JoyNews’ “the Probe” show on Sunday, December 25 that the newly elected leadership of the NDC led by Johnson Asiedu Nketia as the National Chairman is not

different from the old executives.

According to the former General Secretary, Asiedu Nketia’s leaked audio confirms his argument that the NDC does not have what it takes to win an

election again in Ghana.

“The current crop of NDC executives are people we have worked with before. Listening to Asiedu Nketia on why they were not able to collate their own elections, shows there is nothing to compare,” he emphasised.
