I’ll provide best gov’t in Ghana’s history – Akufo-Addo

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said his ministerial nominees will provide the best government in Ghana’s history.

Shortly after he had introduced his Regional Ministers-designate at the Flagstaff House in Accra on Tuesday, 24 January, Mr Akufo-Addo expressed confidence in the abilities of his nominees to transform the fortunes of the country.

“I believe that already the Ghanaian people are seeing the quality of the people that I have proposed for national office and for members of the next NPP government. There are those who made all kinds of noises about the choices, but I think day after day they (nominees) are proving that indeed they have the quality and the calibre that we need now to take our country up and move it to the next stage for the development of our nation,” the president stated.

“I’m very confident that these people that have been assembled are going to give us the best government in our history. A government that is going to take Ghana very much to the next stage of its social and economic development.”

The president called for support for his nominees, saying: “…I’m calling on the people to continue to support the nominees that they are [hearing] and seeing on radio and television and prepare to give them maximum support so that they take the very difficult duties that they are going to be confronted with.”
