A member of the Kennedy Agyapong campaign team, who identifies himself as Alex Kwaku has vowed to work tirelessly against the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) if Kennedy Agyapong is not elected as the party’s flagbearer.
He indicates that Kennedy Agyapong is the only candidate to take the governing political party to the promised land and if that is not achieved, he will work tirelessly to ensure that the NPP loses the 2024 General Elections.
“In 2016, I bought 2 VIP buses, fueled them and ensured that people who vote in the Ashanti Region are bused to go and vote for the political party. We cannot sit there and allow Mahama who is coming back, to come and unseat us.
This time around, I have bought 16 buses and before they arrive in Ghana, they will be sprayed with the inscription Support Ken boldly written on them. If Kennedy Agyapong loses, I will gladly use the bus to transport people to vote against Bawumia,” he said.
He indicated that the Vice President who has made his intentions known about contesting for the NPP flagbearership, has made the NPP unattractive and therefore needs to be booted out by the party’s delegates.
“Formerly, we used to cover up things, but now, we open up about issues. We all know it’s the Vice President who has made the NPP unattractive, so we cannot leave him to lead us and go and disgrace us,” he said on Amasaman BX TV.
