IGP Meets Youth Leaders Of Political Parties

The police administration have met with the youth leaders of the various political parties to agree on a road map ahead of the November election.
The agreement specifies the role of the youth and at what point the police can exercise their duties in times of misconduct.

Inspector General of police, (IGP) John Kudalor said though it is clear that this year’s elections will be keenly contested with the youth playing vigilante roles, it does not provide an arena for the youth to disrespect the laws that guides the peace and security of the country.

Mr. Kudalor said the police will execute its mandate regardless of who is caught at the wrong side of the law.

He added that the youth indiscipline that manifested during the Talensi by election will no longer be tolerated by the police.
