I will shoot anyone who tries to seize my car – George Loh

The former Member of Parliament for North Dayi, George Loh, has vowed to shoot anyone who attempts to seize his car.

His comment follows the seizing of cars by government elements from some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Soldiers and national security agents recently raided the home of Kofi Adams, the NDC national organiser, and seized five vehicles from his compound on the basis that they were state vehicles.

The vehicles were later returned to him after it was discovered that they did not belong to the state.

Security officials also stormed the home of Jame Agyenim Boateng, a former deputy information minister, and seized his car, which the agents said was a state vehicle.

Some youth of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have also seized property and closed down some offices across the country.

Commenting on the development on Abusua FM, Goerge Loh said he would not allow himself to suffer a similar fate.

He said he would shoot down anyone who attempted to seize his car.

“There is no way I’m going to allow any criminal or some political party’s youth organiser in some region to try seizing my car…I will shoot the person.

“That’s self-defence…I’m defending myself and my property and the law allows me the right to protect myself against danger or any form of threats,” he said.
