Hungarian Ambassador assures Ghana of stronger ties

The Hungarian Ambassador to Ghana Andras Szabo says his country will continue to strengthen bilateral relations and promote healthy mutual engagements with Ghana.

He said Hungary has vast expertise in Waste Management, Agriculture, Sports Development and Water Resources Management.

To this end, he explained that efforts are underway to assist Ghana to enhance performance in those sectors.

The Ambassador stated this when he paid a courtesy call on Speaker of Parliament, Edward Doe Adjaho.

Ambassador Andras Szabo said his country intend implementing the Schengen rules in making the acquisition of Schengen visa flexible especially for those who want to take advantage of business opportunities in Hungary.

On the development of agriculture, he said Hungary will help Ghana transform its waste into fertilizer for farmers to enhance their yield.

He stated that Hungary is currently involved in an IT development program in Ghana and hopes to expand the program in the future.
The visit to the Speaker forms part of his familiarization tour of key institutions in the country upon assumption of duty as the Hungarian Ambassador to Ghana.

The Speaker Edward Doe Adjaho pledged to support in any endeavour that will inure to the mutual benefit of the two countries.
