The Member of Parliament for Bawku Central, Hon Mahama Ayariga has provided support for all final year students in Senior High Schools in his constituency to access free extra-tuition.
The about 2,579 final year students of Bawku Senior High School, Bawku Senior High Technical School and the Bawku Technical Institute are being provided extra-tuition in their Core as well as Elective Subject areas.
This initiative which commenced earlier this week is part of a series of efforts to improve performance of students in schools within the Bawku Municipality.
It would be recalled that the Bawku Central MP in recent times has toured Basic as well as Second Cycle schools to interact with management, staff and students to map out concrete strategies for the improvement of educational standards in the Municipality.
In a related development, plans are far advanced for all BECE candidates in both Public and Private schools in Bawku to also receive extra-tuition under the Bawku Central MP’s Educational Support Program.
Hon Mahama Ayariga continues to count on the cooperation and support of all stakeholders particularly parents and teachers as he rolls out various initiatives aimed at giving children a good chance of a successful future.
