A festival to promote and celebrate the cultural integration of Ghanaian festivals, dubbed Homofest, has been launched in Accra.
The Minister of Tourism, Culture And Creative Arts, Mrs.Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare, who launched the festival, said it is an innovative and creative initiative that serves as a mother festival to all traditional festivals in Ghana.
The event coincided with the Homowo celebrations of the Ga-Dangme people.
She said the festival will provide opportunities for the private sector to expand and start new businesses in both the informal and formal sectors .
