Hearts to play a Nigerian side on Sunday

Hearts have confirmed a friendly with Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah in Accra on Sunday.

The Phobians want to step up preparations ahead of the start of the new season.

The club’s spokesman Kwame Opare Addo has confirmed the international will go on as planned.

“Coming Sunday, Hearts of Oak will battle Nigerian side Ifeanyi Ubah in an international club friendly and the kick off time is 2pm, they will be arriving in Ghana on Friday,” he said

“The game will form part of the club’s preparations ahead of the league and by the time the premier league kicks off, Hearts of Oak will be ready for the league.”

Hearts drew 1-1 with Inter Allies in a recent friendly last week.
