Greater Accra region.: NDC to vet parliamentary aspirants April 3-5

The main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced the vetting of its parliamentary aspirants in the Greater Accra region.

Beginning today, Monday, 3 April 2023, the party will begin the vetting of aspirants from 31 out of the 34 constituencies of the region.

Three constituencies are on hold.

The vetting process is expected to end on Wednesday, 5 April 2023.

In all, 111 parliamentary aspirants will be vetted.

Out of the 111, 23 are females.

A statement issued by the party and signed by its Regional Communications Officer, Jerry Johnson, indicated that: “The other three Constituencies which are on hold include Odododiodoo, Ayawaso Central and Amasaman.”

It added: “The date for the vetting of their Aspirants will be communicated to the public in due course.”
