Government has so far released Six Hundred and 93 Million Ghana Cedis to the Electoral Commission for the organization of this year’s general elections.
The EC has presented 822 Million Ghana Cedis Budget to Government for the elections.
Provision has also been made in event of a run-off and the remaining 129 Million will be paid to ensure smooth organization of the elections.
The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations and Member of Government Economic management Team Haruna Iddrisu announced this today at a public forum at Parliament.
