Burial and funeral arrangement for the late Major Maxwell Mahama has been released.
A statement by the Director of State Protocol said the late Maj. Mahama will be laid to rest on Friday, June 9, with full military honours at the Osu Cemetery after a burial service at the forecourt of the State House.
It will be preceded by a vigil service at Arakan Officers Mess on Thursday (June 8), at 7.pm.
Filling past of the body will begin at 6am to 9.10am on Friday.
The statement said, final funeral rites will be held at the forecourt of the State House immediately after burial.
On Sunday, June 11, a thanksgiving service will be held at the Light House Chapel International, Qodesh, North Kaneshie at 10am.
On the 13th to 15th of this month, final funeral rites will be held at Bole in the Northern Region and at Tumu, Upper West Region from 16th to 18th June.
