Gifty Osei celebrates a decade in the music industry

Ten years seem a long time but gospel artiste, Gifty Osei, is happy to have stayed relevant in the music business for that long.

She began her music career in 2007 with her debut album Aseda.

She followed up with her Fefeefe in 2010 and then Jesus Be Too Much in 2014.

Come Wednesday August 16, the award- winning gospel artiste will celebrate a decade in music with her fourth album titled Ebenezer.

Songs on the eight-track album recorded by sound engineers Kaywa, Shai, Dan Bassey and Emma are God Will Do It, Wisdom, The Grace, Adom, Praise Medley and Ebenezer.

Speaking in an interview with Showbiz, Gifty Osei said she decided to name the album Ebenezer to tell her fans and loved ones that God has brought her far.

“God has really done a lot for me. Not many gospel artistes are able to stay relevant for such a long time but I have been able to do that through God who answers by prayers all the time,” she said.

According to her, she plans series of tours across the country to celebrate her decade in the music industry.

She explained that the tour will take her to all the 10 regions in Ghana, starting from Accra.
