Ghana Police confirms NAM1’s arrest in Dubai

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed that the Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold,Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1, has been arrested in Dubai.

In a press release to the media, the police said NAM1 has been in custody in the United Arab Emirates since December 7, 2018.

The statement said his arrest was to facilitate investigations into suspicions that he had been involved in an illegal gold trading deal.

Earlier today, Accra based Starr FM reported that the Police Headquarters in Dubai denied arresting a Ghanaian by the name Nana Appiah Mensah.
