Officials of the Ghana Hajj Board have petitioned the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Ghana to re-admit the 39 Ghanaian pilgrims repatriated for not meeting Saudi classification procedures.
The spokesperson for the Hajj Board, Alhaji Alhassan Sunyini, clarified the issue with the media
He said the females under 40 years who were refused entry will be re-classified to ensure they have the opportunity to perform their religious rights.
He confirmed the final batch of 500 pilgrims will leave Accra Thursday.
