Preparations are underway for the mega Presidential Debate organised by the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, (GBC), and the National Commission and Civic Education, (NCCE).
The event, which comes off this evening at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra, will round up the Presidential encounters with a debate with six of the Presidential candidates contesting in this year’s election.
GBC is doing this in collaboration with the NCCE with support from Star Ghana and funding from the EU, UK Aid and DANIDA.
Meanwhile, GBC has organised a preliminary balloting to determine who answers the first question, during today’s debate.
The Chairman of GBC’s Political Broadcast Committee, Ebenezer Ampaabeng, said the process is to ensure fairness and transparency.
The programme is in collaboration with the NCCE with support from Star Ghana, funded by the EU, UK Aid and DANIDA.
The debate which will be moderated by Dan Afari Yeboah of “What do You Know” fame and Mrs. Selikem Acolatse Apaloo, will be broadcast live on all GBC television and Radio Stations and some other sister stations across Ghana.
