Fire Outbreak:Parts of Kumasi Central Market gutted (Social-Media Gist)

Parts of the Kumasi Central Market was on Wednesday gutted by fire.

The Toma, Ayoyo and Nkokor 3jisuo sections within the Central Market were razed by fire, the cause of which is yet to be established.

Locals say the fire started out at a section before spreading to others, causing some fear and panic in and around the facility, the biggest gathering point for petty traders in the region.

Officials of the Ghana National Fire Service took turns to see to the situation, locals told us Wednesday.
