Fellow Ghanaians; Akufo-Addo addressed the nation from his hide-out in London yesterday

Weeks ago a statement from the presidency copied to ghanapoliticsonline.com, revealed that President Nana Addo Akufo-Addo is out of Ghana and will be returning on 21 of December, 2020.

Surprisingly, yesterday 20th December a message from the president was broadcasted on Television with the pretense of he addressing Ghanaians from the seat of the Government which has raised suspicions from many Ghanaians as to if the president is in Ghana or in London.

The president on record is known to constantly be telling lies since he was elected and on record this will be the first lie the president has told the republic after December 2020 elections.

Below is the previous statement from the presidency captured by ghanapoliticsonline.com

President Akufo-Addo left the shores of Ghana for Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday, December 13, 2020.

The President, who doubles as the Chairperson of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), yesterday attended the swearing-in ceremony of Cote d’Ivoire’s President-elect Alassane Ouattara.
This will be followed by another appearance in Guinea today for the swearing-in ceremony of the President-elect, Prof Alpha Condé.
The next stop for President Akufo-Addo will be London, where he is expected to embark on a private visit.
He is accompanied by the First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo; Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway; and other government officials.
President Akufo-Addo is expected to return to Ghana on Monday, December 21.
In his absence, the Vice-President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will, in accordance with Article 60(8) of the Constitution, act in his stead.
