E/R: Another NPP Executive Resigns to Campaign for NDC

Abuakwa North Constituency of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been characterised with resignation as another executive member has joined in the exit to campaign for NDC’s parliamentary candidate, Ambassador Victor Smith.
Deputy Constituency Women Organizer, Patience Koranteng was popularly known as “Adwoa Krobo” intention to exit the party has come as a surprise since it’s barely few weeks of the resignation of the party’s constituency treasurer, Akosua Sarpomaa who is currently campaigning for the NDC.

Madam Koranteng could neither confirm nor debunk the rumours in an interview with BRYT FM Reporter, Nyarko Abronoma, saying she will comment at the appropriate time.

Meanwhile, information gathered reveal some constituency executives of the party are not interested in the candidature of current MP, Hon. Gifty Twum Ampofo, hence the recent resignations.

Speaking to the Communication director of the Constituency, Mr. Osei Wusu, confirmed the story and said the executives of the party in the constituency are yet to receive any letter from the latter but indicated the woman has not been active in the party activities for some time now.

In a related development, Ambassador Smith has cut the sod for the construction of EKEMAG – Presby town road which is in a poor state due to the poor drainage system to help ease problems residents and road users go through during raining seasons.
