EIB suspends workers who demonstrated over 9-month unpaid salaries

The EIB has suspended workers who protested on Monday, July 4, 2022, over nine months of unpaid salaries.

On Monday, workers at EIB Accra staged a protest over nine straight months of unpaid pay.

NYDJ disclosed in a tweet that the disgruntled employees voiced their complaints to the company’s bosses before leaving for the evening but coming back to work the next morning.

Following a protest on Monday over nine months of unpaid wages, the workers went back to work today.

Any unhappy staff who took part in the rally were told by the management of EIB Accra to stay off the air when they returned.
