The Electoral Commission [EC] has said it will make public the certified voters’ register for the December Elections by close of next month.
Communications Director of the EC, Eric Dzakpasu, who disclosed this to GBC’s Rebecca Ekpe, said names of those who just registered and those yet to, in the up-coming continuous registration will also be captured to vote in December.
Meanwhile, District Registration Review Officers of the EC are currently adjudicating on cases of objection and multiple registration raised during the just ended Voter Exhibition Exercise.
As the registration ends August 12 for NHIS card holders whose names were deleted from the register following the Supreme Court ruling, the EC is appealing to those who have not registered to do so.
Communications Director, Eric Dzakpasu, also said citizens have a final opportunity to vote in the December election if they take advantage of the continuous registration exercise.
