EC Launches Communications Strategy To Ensure Transparency And Accountability

The Electoral Commission has launched its communications strategy in Accra.

The Communication Strategy will support the Commission in the delivery of its five year strategic plan aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability.

EC Chairperson, Charlotte Osei, said effective Communication is imperative in building understanding among the Commission’s stakeholders.

Meanwhile, two more persons have been arrested by the Tema Police for double registration.

This brings to eight the number of persons arrested so far in the Continuous Voter Registration.

The Kpone-Katamanso District Electoral Officer, Mrs. Doris Agbezuhlor, told Radio Ghana, that although officials thoroughly interrogated the culprits earlier, they continuously denied it.

However the system revealed that the two had already registered.
